This issue of the Young Professionals magazine comes with refinements in its layout design. Departmental tabs were made smaller and refined to ensure proper blend with the page content. Instead of using Dropcap to start each story, the first two to three words were enlarged for this purpose. As usual, we used real life images and candid shots as much as possible.

ART in Marketing
Effective Marketing is more of an art than a science. To achieve the right blend of offerings, pricing, and timing such that it appeals to the target audience is an art given the numerous factors that could affect the way it's executed and it's outcome. And primarily because marketing is about eliciting a specific human behaviour or emotion.
Marketing, as defined by Wikipedia, is the process by which companies determine what products or services may be of interest to customers, and the strategy to use in sales, communications and business development. This integrated process is an art through which companies create value for customers and build strong customer relationships in order to capture value from customers in return.
Caprica International's brand signature
Caprica International is a start-up company that provides a very unique suite of cutting edge management consulting services to a niche global clientele. The Founder and CEO, Paul W. Bradley, a well recognised business leader in Asia wanted a dynamic logo to represent his new company and its vision. His creative brief to Sticky SPY was that the logo must be futuristic. It must have elements from outer space including a planet in an eclipse with a star in the background and an energy force representing transformation in the universe. Included in this theme, the logo must also reflect a professional and corporate business image.
(Wo)Men at Work
Young Professionals launched a career and lifestyle magazine targeted at the 20 - 35 age group. Sticky SPY was glad to provide art direction for this new and interesting magazine. The cover story is about 2 young professional ladies working in a male dominated construction industry. No complaints and still having fun everyday despite having to work in the blazingly hot weather and putting on safety gears.
My crew and I were there on site photographing these ladies in action in their rugged job environment. Photos were taken using the Canon 450D SLR camera and edited on the Apple MacBook with Adobe CS4.
Event Handbook
An event handbook shouldn't be just a document listing the event program. It should be actractively designed as a commomorative collateral that not only feature information related to the event, but also somthing that the holder would want to keep.
